Long Story super short

We ended up returning Riley to the breeder.  She very graciously allowed us to pick out another puppy.   We are very sad about Riley but feel that he will find a home that will work out much better for him then ours.

Ok, so yes, we got another puppy....Tucker (for a lack of us finding a name we like better)
Boomer wasn't quite sure what to do with his 'mini-me'

Tucker isn't 'flashy' like Riley is.  But sweet nonetheless.

First off how is your knee? Better I hope. Knees can be tricky.
Now...Why the switch and was the red tri gone. What made you chose Tucker? We need details! : )

Knee is doing better but still healing up (I messed it up pretty good)

The red tri was still there but as he had been the first choice before my hubby saw him (and when he did, wasn't thrilled with the color/markings) I didn't even really consider him again.

Riley just wasn't good fit with our family; he is super sweet though. There were two merles left (and I honestly didn't think to pick one in the beginning as we already had Boomer) and this guy is her favorite of the litter (so I think she was happy that we took him so she can see him). So far he has done well and seems to be working out ok.

I guess I should also say that none of our older dogs liked him....which was more and more evident as time went on with him here. So far they don't seem to be bothered by Tucker.

Ahh, well that makes sense. You gotta keep the pack happy! And you got the pick of the litter! They are all adorable. Glad to here the knee is improving, albeit slowly.
