Boomer did it again......he found a baby bird in the yard and gobbled it down. I wasn't here for this one but my hubby was home when it happened. Poor birdy. Feathers and all....tweeting on the way down :(
O my gosh!! That sounds crazy!! I would probably freak out if I saw Ace grab a bird!! I almost died when he picked up a dead shriveled mouse a while back! I grabbed a huge leaf and extracted it, but...I don't think I have ever used SUCH hot water on my hands to clean them hahaha
Wow, you had time to grab a leaf? that is amazing. To picture Boomer eating some of this gross stuff (not that I think birds are gross, I have 4 of my own!) think of Garfield when he eats the plate of spaghetti...that is what Boomer looks like. He ate some dead shriveled up thing the other day (again on my hubby's watch!) but I was more worried that he had gotten out of the yard (gate left open) then that he ate the yucky thing!
Ew! I don't think I'd like to see that either. We don't tend to have birds building nests in our area, thank goodness. But Bandit sure does go after the squirrels if he sees them in the backyard. I'm not concerned he'd ever be able to catch one - at least I hope he never does!
Spirit just did the same thing earlier this week. I was walking her and she suddenly went into a yard and started gulping something down - then I heard it peep. Poor thing.

Boomer's already an expert !
Boomer and Natasha may be on a race to see who gets the most birds this year. So many birds, so little time.

oh dear! i don't think i could handle watching dash do that. i guess one of the perks of city life is no baby birds to find.
